We are looking for a nurse for Silverpark in Täby, with a focus on dementia. As a nurse, you will have medical and care responsibilities for our residents. We consider it an advantage if you have experience as a nurse in elderly care. The position is full-time.

About the role

You are the spider in the web regarding the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the residence's group leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our group leaders also coach and work with the teams in daily operations.

Getting to know the residents

Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for accurate assessments and decisions.

Knowledge

You are a licensed nurse and we prefer that you have worked for a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, which requires you to have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.

We wish that you enjoy working independently and that having the freedom to shape your workdays is comfortable for you in your role as a nurse. You should be able to make quick decisions and discuss with the responsible physician, take initiatives, have a strong personality, and dare to take charge, enjoy having a leadership role and supporting your colleagues, and be accustomed to structuring and organizing your work.

About Silverpark

Silverpark in Täby consists of 62 apartments for dementia, somatic, and psychogeriatric places. Outdoor activities and activities in nature, parks, and gardens are natural parts of our everyday life. We work based on different nature themes throughout the year.
